Questions Clients Commonly Ask
Straightforward information before you decide to schedule.
Who do you work with?
Adolescents, adults, and seniors. Individual and family therapy are available, including work with thoughtful and high-achieving people who may function well outwardly while struggling internally.
Do you offer in-person therapy?
Yes. In-person therapy is available at 5300 Town and Country Blvd Ste 240, Frisco, TX 75034.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. Telehealth is available throughout Texas for eligible clients physically located in Texas at the time of service.
What is the private-pay fee?
$195 per 55 minute individual therapy session.
Do you take insurance?
Insurance eligibility, estimated client cost, billing, and claims are handled through our secure client platform. See Fees & Insurance for details.
How do I schedule?
The Schedule button takes you to the secure client platform to review availability and complete booking.
What happens if I do not finish my first-session paperwork?
Required initial paperwork must be completed before the first session. If it is not completed, the appointment must be rescheduled and the applicable cancellation fee will be charged.
Do you provide therapy in Farsi?
Yes. Therapy is available in English and Farsi, and clients may use either language or move naturally between both.
What should I do in a crisis?
Serena Counseling is not a 24-hour crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the U.S., call or text 988 for crisis support.
How do I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
For cancellations, or to reschedule a subsequent appointment, email [email protected] or call/text 469-444-0303. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Requests made fewer than 48 hours before the appointment, as well as missed appointments, are subject to a $100 fee.
